Editorial Review

A pleasant little corner bistro with some tables outside on fair weather days. Inside is small, but the space is made larger by a bright turquoise mural of a beach scene.

On the menu: a salad nicoise, mussels gratin with Gruyere, beef carpaccio, duck breast with red cabbage confit, free range chicken with potato puree and lardons, and more.

There's a good selection of tarts on the dessert menu.

European charm in downtown Bethesda

This is our go-to restaurant in downtown Bethesda. The food is always excellent, the service impeccable, and the decor charming. The menu is varied and changes on a regular basis. But if you have a favorite and it is not on the menu that day, you can ask the chef and he does his best to accommodate you. How can you argue with service like that? They have valet parking in the evening and sitting at the outside tables on a nice evening is reminiscent of the outdoor cafes in Paris.
