This charmingly decorated establishment will appeal to the true Anglophile. Sample top-notch scones around lace-covered tables under watchful photos of Queen Elizabeth II. Your food (sandwiches or bite-size savories, in addition to sweets) comes on a classic multitiered caddy, and the Pantry serves the popular PG Tips brand. Daily 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; $24.99 per person.

The British Pantry is an authentic, charming, English shoppe and cafe that is a haven for those of us that miss the U.K.. One is greeted with warm-hearted smiles and an opportunity to experience a real English tea. The front store is chock-a-block filled with British novelty items, kitchenware, and hard to find food specialties. I recommend the British Pantry to anyone who either misses the U.K., or has never been and wants to see what it is truly like.
