My mom and sister and I went for my sister's birthday. We had the full afternoon tea, complete with sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and sweets. The sandwiches were simple and delicious. The scones were lovely. The sweets were tasty, and quite British indeed. We chose to drink the house favorite PG Tips tea; it was piping hot and tasted wonderful. As a birthday treat a small profiterole filled with ice cream and topped with a candle was served to my sister. The store is also quite nice and has very nice tea sets, cozies, and British pantry items. If you are looking to have an authentic English tea party, this is the spot.
Went with two female friends and found lovely, light tea food and drink in a charming atmosphere. Can't wait to go again!
