There's a big sign on the window of Cameron's Seafood Market that proclaims the place the "House of Hot-Spiced Shrimp." Cameron's is definitely not an upscale joint and service isn't particularly fast. But judging by the large number of people dining on a recent weeknight, this casual atmosphere suits the locals just fine.

The scent of fried fish permeates the air around the hot food counter as customers take away Styrofoam plates laden with pretty much every type of seafood dish you could think of, all at very reasonable prices. Try the fried bluefish platters ($5.99), grilled mahi mahi ($7.99) or the almost-over-the-top lobster dinner (a one-and-a-quarter pound lobster, half-dozen mussels, half-dozen clams and an ear of corn for $16.99). Seating is available inside the red and gray swathed restaurant and on warm nights, Cameron's offers limited sidewalk seating.
