Cedar is small and the food has been a tad inconsistent in the past. That being said, the atmosphere is good, the staff (including the owners) are superb. The food has become more more consistent and when they are on, it's as good as any restaurant in the city. I live in Penn Quarter and this is rapidly becoming a great neighborhood restaurant and I'm almost hoping not discovered by the throngs attracted by the Verizon Center. For the price and quality, it would be hard to beat Cedar.
