Now that POTUS has eaten there their success has been ensured.
I honestly don't know how someone, especially the WaPo, can say this place has good pizza. What's more baffling, though, is how a place specializing in pizza can make one so poorly. The crust is undercooked, bland, and the sauce tastes like ketchup. I thought maybe we had a uniquely bad experience, so we tried it again with the same result. The wings were mediocre. The nachos were ok, used fresh jalapenos, but they refried beans tasted canned. Tried the burger- pretty good, nice and thick. Mine was undercooked and raw in the middle, but I'm forgiving. It came with tater tots, which were overcooked and greasy. Honestly, I'm not making any of this up. I will say, however, that the beer selection is outstanding, if not overwhelming.
