Though the (reader) reviews universally panned Domaso's food, we had a perfectly fine meal. There were rough spots, but nothing that would keep us away. Though the soup was uneven, the pasta was 'al dente'; and our seafood entrees were fresh and well made. Though the receptionist ignored our requests, wait staff generally was attentive without being obsequious. Though the river view touted in their website wasn't 'all that' at night (one needs to get above the 4th floor to escape the glare from street lights), I bet it's nice during the day. Anyway, I've been dining in DC for over 30 years, admired Phyllis (Richmond) and even agree with Tom (Sietsema) much of the time. Domaso is a very good meal at a fair price for DC. We'll be back.
