This rotisserie chicken is addictive.

I'm a peruvian chicken connoisseur (been to most of them in the Arlington, VA area). I was pleasantly surprised that El Pollito lived up to the First Bite review. My co-workers and I ordered the chicken, french fries, mash potatoes, rice and corn. We phoned in our order and picked it up 20 minutes later. Food was fresh and hot (mash potatoes were home made). Will definitely order again!
Decided to go over for lunch and tried out the Pollito Mix. They were out of rice and w/a little tone was told that it was going to take 20-30 min. for the rice to be ready. My 2nd option 1/4 chicken with Yucca and Pla tain. The yucca is a little salty but eatable the plantin worse I ever had. Its not ripe or green but in between and not fully cooked. I would good again for the chicken only.
Just go back from El Politio and it was very disappointing. I ordered the El Politio platter and received a small amount of rice & beans and even a smaller amount of pulled chicken that equated maybe a 1/4 breast. My workmates never even got their food. Don't bother going here it's not worth the aggravation. Service was poor too. Tom, you blew in on this review.
