A non-descript restaurant that offers a moderately priced meal of Spanish food and a glass of romantic sangria.
I explained that I’ve already paid online, you can scan the barcode on the coupon or contact the website to redeem. But he was keep saying “No No No, I don’t’ know it at all! Where is the sign?” While we were arguing, the owner came and said that I was “CHEATING money”, and “you GET OUT!” I was so horrified and disgusted. I left that place under the eyes of a couple of other customers. After reading reviews of other customers’ hard time of using coupon at this restaurant, I believe that they know very well about the coupon, are cheating people to come by issuing coupon, then they deny it and force the customer to pay more than they expected. I am wondering how come such a black hearted restaurant still can open in D.C. metro?
I’ve never had such bad experience like this! The owner said that I was cheating and told me to “get out”! This is what happened: I bought a coupon from www.doubletakedeals.com, (which I used many times already and all worked fine). I paid $12.5 and get a coupon valued at $25. After I sit down at the table, before I ordered anything from the menu, I showed the coupon to the waiter. He brought it to the old guy at the bar (said manager), after a while he came back and told me the manager denied it. So I have to talk to the manager. He was very rude, pointed at the coupon and shouted: “who issued this? who signed it? There is no sign on it! Anyone can print a piece of paper and says it worth $25!”
