Cupcakes are the name of the game. Discover a dozen different flavors at a time with espresso beverages to wash them down.
I had heard all of the publicity on Georgetown Cupcake and have even seen the ridiculous line of people waiting for a taste of this place. When my coworker said that she was going to stand in the line one day, I had an opportunity to taste a red velvet cupcake. It just didn't have much of a flavor, what little flavor it did have seemed a little bitter or weird. The icing was a little too sweet for my taste, but it was very moist. I don't think that the wait in the line and the price is worth it.
We ordered cupcakes with primary colored oneises (red, green, blue, and yellow assortment) with letters on top of each one that would spell out "Welcome Little One." ALL of the onesies were red or blue... there were NO yellow or green ones... AND about 5 of the fondant onesies were cracked! The shower is tomorrow. Needless to say, I am highly disappointed and frustrated. This is unacceptable, especially from such a reputable establishment. I called them, but of course, there is never any answer and you have to leave a message. The girl who took or order was arrogant and (obviously) did not listen to the details at all... I will not be returning to Georgetown Cupcakes and would not recommend this establishment.
