Some dishes are so luxurious, so contrapuntal in flavor and texture that they just sweep you off your palate. Osso buco is perfectly tender.

Since i only have 750 characters there isn't enough space to write exactly what happened. In a nutshell my family and i had reservations last night for 6pm. It was freezing and raining and we were coming in from PWC. My husband dropped us in front of the restaurant while he went to find parking. We were about 15min early. The door was locked and i waved in the window to see if someone would come to the door. Long story short we were told we could not come in till 6pm. My 7 year old daughter and i stood there and waited for my husband to circle back around to pick us up. We ended up eating at Landini Brothers instead. When my husband made a courtesy call to Geranio to let them know we weren't coming back, he was YELLED at. AVOID!
overcooked pasta, less-than-fresh seafood, and waistaff with zero food knowledge. salads too cold, risotto SO not cooked to order. Blah all around. Oh one good thing: decent wine at a low price for Old Town.
My now-husband and I had our Rehearsal Dinner here. It was supposed to be in the private room upstairs on a Friday night, but because it wasn't too crowded, they opened up half of the entire downstairs for us. The restaurant was charming, the staff were super-attentive, the food was fantastic, it was, honestly, THE perfect place for a Rehearsal Dinner. I was shocked that the price, even with an open bar, was incredibly reasonable for ~35 people. I could not recommend them higher, specifically for rehearsal dinners.
Gem of a restaurant with a lovely fireplace and very gracious service. Had a ribeye and the wife had the lobster risotto and both were fantastic. Had to wait a bit for bread, but it came out hot and crusty...worth the wait. Great wine list, especially the Italian selections. Will be back soon!
