Seek out one of the sisters for advice on what to order at this beloved Vietnamese restaurant.

Gosh, the owners of the restaurant should take a note of a very bad service. The waiting staff is unattantive, sloppy, providing rushy service and generally don't care. The food tastes like no longer authentic Vietnamese... There are excellent restaurants in our area such as Thai restaurants Palin and Duangrats ( and we would try to avoid "Four sisters" by any means.
We visited Four Sisters tonight based upon the excellent review by the Post, and were sorely disappointed. We have enjoyed Vietnamese food for years, but if this had been our first foray into this cuisine (as it was our guests), it would have been the last. Service to order was slow, and the main courses were brought out even before we'd finished the appetizers (we ordered the dinner for 4). The appetizers and soup, especially the crispy spring rolls, were the highlight of the meal. The main courses lacked flavor, were cold, and just blah. Given the abundance of really good Vietnamese food in the Falls Church/7 Corners area, I see no need to try this restaurant again.
I see some reviewers had a bad experience. All I can say is - the times I've visited, both by myself and with a group of 6 - the service has been fine (occasionally a bit slow) and the food great. I know Tom loves the shrimp toast (not to my taste), but the crispy pork rolls are superb, with the spring rolls not far behind. For main courses, the quail is out of this world, and the scallops are great. I've never eaten anything less than "good" and most at a level above that. For outstanding food at a reasonable price, you can't beat this restaurant.
Having been to the Four Sisters a half dozen times i never got disappointed. Especially when one of the Sisters (owner) came and helped decifer the menu
This is my 3rd time to four sisters( April 10th) and I will never go back =the service was poor - I had to hunt down the server for water/ drinks - the food came out all at once including the soup's - The soup was salty and the main entrees lacked meat and seafood - it was a real disappointment all around and with so may choices why would any one go here? The washington Post who I trust for a critical review needs to be more honest - Tom, I want my money back!
This is my second time dining at Four Sisters in Falls Church and will be my last. My boyfriend and I ordered 3 dishes with an appetizer and needless to say we were still hungry after dinner. The food was very bland and it seems like the economy has affected the quality/quantity of food being served at Four Sisters. Our "seafood" dish and 2 pieces of shrimp and one piece of octopus. It was so bland that we ended up pouring soy sauce over it. The tomatoes that came with one of dishes were WHITE! Our bill came to about $50.00 and for the money there are plenty of other vietnamese restaurants in NoVa that serve heaping portions and great quality. Never going back again
Four Sisters is by far the best Vietamese restaurant. I was sorry to see it leave Eden Center but the new restaurant is much larger and beautiful. The food is always excellent!
