Tapas (70 plus) and several main dishes fit all appetites and price ranges; the wine list is friendly and the wait staff is helpful.

A fab tapas destination with a lively atmosphere. The portions are perfect for two--the quail and scallops are delicious. Unfortunately, the sangria seemed a tad watery.
I love this restaurant and have never had a dish I didn't thoroughly enjoy. The sangria rocks. It is a great place to go for a fun date or a night out with a few friends. It can be a little loud when it is full and it does fill up. They take reservations and I would recommend making one.
This restaurant offered a very different dining experience from my "usual places". Here you order many tapas (appetizers) instead of a big entree. There is a huge variety of things to choose from. For someone who's not familiar with Spanish cuisine, it is very confusing. It is best to go with someone who knows what to do. The servants are not very helpful because they couldn't understand why you don't know what to do. I would go back for the novelty but it won't make to the top of my list.
I did not like Jaleos. Very loud if you go in a group. You can't hear each other. The potato omelette (tortilla espanola) was definitely not like the traditional in Spain where you actually see the slices of potatoes. Was not impressed with the tapas at all and would not go back. It is overrated.
Went before a Caps game, and definitely got a "what NoVA bumpkins" look when my wife and I showed up wearing jerseys. Food was great. Cebolla asada (with wonderfully crunchy pine nuts and a very robust cheese), Moorish chickpea stew (smooth and hearty, like a Spanish bean soup), paprika sausage omelet (light and tasty), and the scallops with sofrito (in the shell) were all excellent. The whole carafe of sangria was beautiful with lots of fruit and cinammon. Desert was excellent and definitely improved our waiter's attitude when he realized we were there for the full meal treatment. Wait staffperson was less than attentive without reaching a level that diminished the meal. Overall, a great experience. Would go back in a heartbeat!
