Bo Blair describes what will separate his Bethesda restaurant from the other Jetties locations. First off, he says, they're doing a "really cool kids' menu," which includes not just the typical dishes (chicken fingers, mac 'n' cheese) but also a whole submenu of fruits and veggies as well as a make-your-own sundae bar.

What's more, the adult dinner menu will be more robust in Bethesda; It will expand beyond the shop's sandwiches-and-salad fare.

"Everything's coming in a Le Creuset pot," he says, singling out his partner's recipes for chicken pot pie and lasagna. "So we're doing, like, seven different kinds of dinner pots. ...We're really kind of pumped to do more dinner out there, because we have beer and wine, and we've never had beer and wine at Foxhall [one of the D.C. locations], so we've never really pushed the whole dinner aspect of it."

Avoid Jetties at all costs

Jetties has expensive sandwiches made with unsanitary equipment, rude service & horrible attitudes!! No wonder why the place was deserted, despite being one of the few places with power in a blackout! We saw sandwich maker David Aguilar using the same knife for multiple sandwiches without cleaning it- a clear health code violation. Mr. Aguilar mocked and laughed when we asked him to please use a clean knife for our meal. When we called him out, Mgr Adrian Rivera refused to serve us, even though we'd paid. Mr. Rivera also refused to provide us his mgr's # until we threatened to call the police & the DoH. 5 min after calling another manager, we got our sandwiches. 10 min later we got our kids' tiny order of soupy mac&cheese
