Great cupcakes!

Like one of the other reviewers, we can never decide which cupcakes to get so we end up with a sampling each time we go. The Buttermilk Mexican Chocolate is amazing as is the Vanilla Bean Lemon Curd. Love the creativity and mix of savory and sweet!

The Best Cupcake I Ever Ate

I finally tried this small place yesterday, and Wow! The chocolate-cherry was truly the best cupcake I've ever eaten. It's a 2-mile walk from my home, which means I'll get exercise and indulgence combined. Just wish he had good coffee as well.

It's nice to be nice

Wow! Finally someone who is actually sweet when serving sweets! Rather than standing in line for the cup-witch in Georgetown to ask if you called in a reservation and then be dismissed with a smug look and the back of her hand (she actually told me flat out day when I asked why she could not put a sign saying sold out in the window so customers didn't wait a half hour to find out no more that she didn't care about customers as business was booming -- gawd!!!!), I suggest taking a stroll thru Old Town and stop into Lavender Moon well you will be greeted so kindly and then enjoy one of the best cupcakes of your life. Not too sweet, but just right, Lavender Moon is perfection. If your a fan of Crumbs, Billys, or Magnolia, and GO!!!
