Lefty's Bar-B-Que Unlimited is behind Yum's Grand Buffet in the Pinefield Shopping Center. After 16 years, this marvelous family-owned restaurant and catering operation still shines in Charles County. Half the place is for waiting for carryout orders. The other half is for sitting down to enjoy some of the best barbecue that will ever cross your lips. Either way, when you walk into Lefty's, two things hit you: the sweet smoke smell of North Carolina barbecue and the music. It's '50s and '60s R&B and soul. Sometimes you can catch Lefty moving to the music at the grill. If you're in the mood for no-nonsense, hickory-roasted, fall-off-the-bone ribs with super sweet potato souffle and other homestyle sides, head to Lefty's.
