NOT the best seafood

Maybe I had a high expectation for this restaurant, but I must say I was quite disappointed. I ordered fish and it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either, and for the price I paid I didn't think it was worth it. However I've tried Legal Seafoods in other cities (Boston)and it was better. At least in DC, I would definitely go to other places for good tasty seafood.

I was directed to this specific Legal Seafood as two of my co-workers highly recommended it. I went there for lunch and had the crab cake sandwich. Excellent, could not get eonough of the mustard dipping sauce. The "cake" was not heavily breaded which I was happy not to see. The waitstaff was excell. I will come back again when I'm in DC. Highly recommended by a "fussy" crab cake consumer!

Worst meal in years

Here's a preview of the experience: with drinks, apps, and dinner, our dining experience was complete in 30 minutes. First, we felt like cattle, smashed into a crowded and noisy dining room. Second, my husband's soup came out quickly, followed by our meals 2 minutes later (he was about 4 sips into the soup). The server just looked at him like "move your soup," placed the meals down and scurried away. The waitress never asked how our meal was. So how was it? I'd say slightly above hospital food - bland, lacking texture, generally unappetizing. $80 including 15% tip - extremely disappointing.
