This pizza and pasta joint is where the neighborhood crowd goes to dine and strike up conversation.

I just had lunch at this Listrani's and the music was turned up so loud that I couldn't hear what the person across the table was saying. I requested that it be turned down a bit, which the waitress promptly did. However, the manager ran out and cranked it back up. When asked, he said it was their "policy" to have it loud. Maybe for happy hour this would have been OK, but for a business lunch, or if you want to converse with your lunchmates, the place is terrible. My last trip there.
On a Friday night I tried to have dinner with a friend at Listrani's, but it was the single worst dining experience of my life. The new ownership stared at us while we ate, and basically threw food at us and rushed us with the bill. We asked why they were hurrying us along after they seated us in this booth only to be informed that our table had been sold for the comedy night and we had to leave. As a paying customer I couldn't believe the way we were treated. We were told its a comedy club now and that is where they will focus their engery. Stay away if you want good food and good service because you won't find it at Listrani's anymore.
Okay, so the disco light before a supposed "HBO quality comedy show" was a bit too much for our crowd of five. Out comes the pizza... excellent... a guinness in a cold glass... perfecto. So begins the "comedy", from the first dry comic to the juggling act at the end.... wow... need I say more... YES. There was a fifteen year old boy with his father sitting near the front who was target for some real torment. Comics made reference to his parents being divorced, teen age masturbation, and his low income family. The third comic chanted, remarks (at me) of the KKK and called my boyfriend obese and nick named him "a house". As we got up to leave the comic, shrieked like a banshee. I can't give four negative stars can I? Such a waste.......
