Bad Experience
Just wanted to add that I also have had less than stellar service while dining at Citronelle. I don't expected to be treated like a king, but when I pay these kinds of prices, I do expect not to feel like a second class citizen and unworthy of their attention. Last visit, which I admit was years ago, we were hustled into a corner, ignored, sneered at, then hustled out. There are so many great restaurants out there that understand the importance of making a guest feel welcome. Why would you want to blow a big night out at this place? No food is worth it. Since Tom keeps writing glowingly about the place, while admitting the many complain about the service, I'm guessing that he gets recognized immediately upon entering.
