Mockingbird Hill pairs sherry and ham.
I enjoyed a couple of glasses of sherry and a ham small plate. The bar staff REALLY know their sherry. I eavesdropped as my server gave a "class" to my neighbors who ordered a couple of flights. I'm an old sherry hand, so all I wanted was information on the whereabouts of the best Fino on the planet, La Ina. And he had that info. too--Pedro Domecq sold it to Lustau who are slowing its re-release. No Fino they could make could ever surpass La Ina; I hope the get with the program. Meanwhile, I recommend the Alexandro label @ Mockingbird Hill. I had a glass of its Cream that was better than Harvey's. I look forward to returning.
