Nine things to do in the D.C. area on Memorial... Going Out Guide staff
AFI Docs begins June 19. Here are four films... Stephanie Merry
Ten things to look forward to at this year's... Maura Judkis
This international Italian pizza chain originated in Italy and now has thriving locations throughout South America and a growing presence in the States. Colored Murano glass sconces and bright chandeliers decorate the industrial space. The restaurant's motto is "Famosi per la pizza."
With over 50 different thin crust pizza combinations, the pie's the limit. All pizzas are baked in the giant red wood-burning oven in back. Choose the Moderna with fresh arugula and shaved Parmesan or the Sao Paulo with creamy mozzarella and Brazilian catupiry cheese. The pillowy gnocchi is house-made and salads are refreshingly light. Wash down a pizza with a scrumptious Brazilian caipirinha.
