I tried Red Dog Cafe for the first time tonight, and I'll never go back. First, the waiter somehow forgot to put in my order. By the time my food came, the rest of my party had already finished eating. I waited an hour for my food (I ordered the roast chicken), and when it finally arrived, the bed of roasted corn that it was on was completely inedible. It tasted like it was rotten. They just brought my chicken back to me, minus the corn. I ate one drumstick, then just wanted to leave. After a few complaints, the most they would take off my bill was $4 because I "ate half the food." I found it ridiculous that they wouldn't take the entire dish off the check, and that the manager didn't personally address our complaints. Horrible.

This is the kind of bistro that every neighborhood should have--nice food with a touch of imagination and a menu that has something for everyone. High end enough for a couples dinner but informal enough to take the kids.
