Editorial Review

It's billed as "the fresher Tex-Mex" and in addition to its signature burritos -- filled with low-fat pinto or black beans -- the menu features Tex-Mex staples such as quesadillas and tacos. Add on chicken, beef, shredded pork, spinach or grilled vegetables and your tab still comes out to be under five bucks.
The menu also features some more contemporary variations on the theme -- including salad wraps, vegetarian chili, taco salads and homemade soups. For those whose stomachs have the room, the combo lunch is the way to go, with a burrito, chips or an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie (made in-house) and soda, starting at $4.99. And should you order extra fresh jalapenos, rest assured that the price of a fountain soda or iced tea includes free refills.
You can get takeout or sit on a stool to the accompaniment of the latest Latino pop. If weather permits, you can sit outside on the patio.
