The place to come for unusual, trendy sushi. Don't expect the classics to be of the highest quality.

Tono sushi is always good, and has great service. It's definitely one of the best sushi places in the city, especially given the overrated, over priced Sushi Taro. The food is fresh, served quickly, and you always know what to expect. Not the best sushi in the world or the most authentic, I suppose, but it's just as good as any other option in NW DC. The other Japanese and Asian food is pretty good too, especially the yakisoba and tempura. And as mentioned, the service is excellent!
