The butcher knows his stuff: dry-aged meats are as good as it gets, and charcuterie is top-notch. Pricing matches the food but not the setting, which is bright as an operating room and totally lacking in comfort or attractiveness--not back if you're just there for a burger or a drink, not ok if you're dropping $100s on a serious meal and want to relax and feel pampered. Read pricing carefully--it's by the pound, not the plate, and you don't get to pick the size (expect 2 lb). Also, be aware that a serving of beer might be teensy (literally half a wineglass) without any indication on the menu that it's not a full serving, even for beers that are not unusually high in alcohol. This amazing chef deserves a much better venue.
