My husband and I recently attended a $150/couple dessert wine class at Zola Kitchen and Wine. For that price, I expected a well-informed instructor, real discussion of the wines were were tasting, and clean glasses. Instead, we had a complete nitwit of an instructor whose two descriptive phrases were "wonderful" and "honey nose" and who on several occasions served herself before the entire class was served! There was no give-and-take in the class, a plate of sweets was just plopped on each table with no description of what they even were, and I had to swap out two of my glasses of wine because the residual bleach (or worse) made the wine smell and taste like dead fish. Just an awful experience all around.
