Season's Greenings

Beyond being a delightfully warm place to seek refuge from winter's worst weather, the Botanic Garden is decked out in extra greenery for its annual exhibit of Washington landmarks created out of plants. And if a miniature Lincoln Memorial made out of sea grape leaves, reindeer moss and coriander seeds isn't whimsical enough for you, there's also a nautical-themed model train display with more than 30 lighthouses, mermaids and a pirate ship. -- Amy Orndorff U.S. Botanic Garden 100 Maryland Ave. SW, Washington, DC
