Located in front of the Arts and Industries Building, the National Mall's old-fashioned carousel draws young visitors from nearby museums. Waits can be long, particularly in the summer months. While children enjoy the ride, parents can take in the spectacular views of the Washington Monument and U.S. Capitol.
