Take a spin on an old-fashioned carousel, located in front of the Arts and Industries Building.
well,well.....more rude people in d.c.I'm all for supervising young kids on the carousel, but to pay $3.50 twice to do it is just more of the same with this country. All about money...let's see:$7 for a carousel ride, rude workers....
So it should be very clear to anyone here that if you intend to let your kid ride this carousel, then you need to be like a HAWK, watching over the situation and if necessary pay the 3.50 to get on with the kid and supervise. That's what I do. At the end of the day you have to live with whatever happens to your kid. It's disgraceful that you can't get better attention from the workers, but if you heed my advice (watch over your kid like a hawk and get on-board yourself) then you are in control.
