In an effort to conjure up the neighborhood feel of the original Kiehl's Pharmacy (founded in 1851) in downtown New York City, the Georgetown store features an exterior of exposed brick and an interior that includes wood flooring, stainless steel tables, a pressed-tin ceiling and white marble countertops. Although Kiehl's skin-care products are no stranger to the Washington market, this is the company's first stand-alone store in the area and features its wide array of products well-known for their no-frills packaging.
