Courtney Reynolds, manager and co-owner of Hysteria, heard her customers begging for a new shoe store in Old Town. "Someone would come in and buy a purse and an outfit and ask me where to find shoes that matched and were unique." The result is Shoe Hive, co-owned by Reynolds and Elizabeth Todd, at the former location of Hysteria.
"We built our customer family at Hysteria through personal attention to each customer's taste and style, by offering things that are different from what you could find in chain stores. That's the same way we approach our customer service at the Shoe Hive," Reynolds said.
The Shoe Hive offers women's shoes from names like New York designer Bettye Muller, British designer Emma Hope and the Italian label Dusica Dusica, as well as from Sigerson Morrison and Cynthia Rowley.
