Superb! Captivating performances and exquisite set! The theatre itself provides an intimacy which draws us in as we can observe and appreciate the smallest expression and gesture. Fully expect that "Othello" will earn awards across the board.
We, the audience, were moved at the end of the play and standing ovation was in order... All elements very crisp and graceful, moves fast with a sparkling quality allowing focus on the words which melt quickly to emotions. New translation very helpful, without being glaringly current. High quality of acting, very well rehearsed, not clunky, especially in swordplay. Loved director using fight shorthand-sound made by one person while another does the movement-and great lighting made it seem like many soldiers on stage.Loved set & costumes almost monochromatic. Everyone loved jaw dropping show of strength in climbing the set. The climax when Roxanne comes to camp & Cyrano briefly realizes he's right extremely well played. What good is courage
