Ethan Miller - Hawaiian musician Jake Shimabukuro has stretched the boundaries of the ukelele, mixing jazz and rock.
With only four strings and a limited range, the ukulele may be a relatively limited instrument. But Hawaiian musician Jake Shimabukuro has stretched those boundaries by mixing jazz and rock. This hour-long documentary follows the uke virtuoso on tour from Los Angeles to New York and Japan.

U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree lighting
For those left unsatisfied after seeing last year’s misshapen National Christmas Tree (which was a replacement for the longtime tree that was felled in a storm), check out the lighting of the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree instead. The 70-foot Engelmann spruce from Colorado’s White River National Forest is trimmed with thousands of ornaments made by schoolchildren near the tree’s home.
