5 Seconds
Part of the Phillips Collection's photography show "Left Behind," Darren Almond's "Six Months Later" is actually 1,440 separate photos, taken at one-minute intervals over the course of 24 hours. Although it depicts a corner of the artist's studio, the subtly changing light puts it in the tradition of color field painting. It's also a way of visualizing the passage of time.
