PM Update: Rain on way out, sunshine to return
It turned into a wet, rainy day, but we are on the brink of a fabulous stretch of weather, set to start tomorrow.
Tornado at Denver International Airport
At approximately 3:30 p.m., a tornado touched down in the vicinity of Denver International Airport (DIA). The weather station clocked a 97 mph gust as it passed by.

Flash flood watch through this evening for D.C. area
Areas of heavy rain are expected this afternoon. Given recent rains and saturated grounds, the National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch through 6 p.m.
