Waves of thunderstorms, some severe, swept through the region dropping 1-3 inches of rain in many spots.
Multiple waves of storms are possible, especially between 4 and 11 p.m.
D.C. did a good job dodging rain in May, but - with the start of June - is set to get doused.
It’s a really iffy evening for getting in a game. Waves of showers and storms, which may be slow-moving, are likely in the area.
