He also filled in on the U.S. Supreme Court beat, anchored the Post’s blog on Justice Sonia Sotomayor ‘s confirmation and spent a month at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba writing about the war crimes trial of Osama bin Laden’s driver. Markon came to the Post in early 2003 from The Wall Street Journal, where he covered the federal courthouse in Manhattan.
