The Ancillary Systems Manager is responsible for optimal clinical workflows through advanced technology solutions and electronic process. The primary responsible of this position is to ensure all ancillary systems, lab, radiology, respiratory, therapies and clinics systems and processes are working effectively and efficiently; staffs are trained in the use of their systems; data integrity is a priority; proper security and privacy measures are taken; systems are tested; and analytics are accurate and timely. The manager is the liaison between assigned areas and Information Systems (IS) and represents and advocates for supported areas and resources as appropriate. The Ancillary Systems Manager works collaboratively with Information Systems and all other departments as necessary in project management and problem solving to advance technology for the organization. Implementation, integration, communications, documentation, and maintenance of the assigned systems are all key aspects of this position.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in informatics, computer science, healthcare, management or related field is required. Master's Degree in informatics, computer science, healthcare, management or related field is preferred. Five (5) years healthcare experience with ancillary or clincial background combined with management and leadership experience. Five (5) years healthcare software experience with successful record with systems support and implementations. Project Mangement certification a plus. Complete software cycle experience including analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment. Experience in preparation and management of operational and capital budgets.
