Provide systems engineering/analyst services to the AV-8B Harrier program for avionics integration and associated software development.
Essential Job Functions
Support AV-8B aircraft integration activities.
Conduct requirements analysis, contribute to design reviews, design and execute system evaluation procedures for laboratory and flight integration events, characterize and document anomaly reports, troubleshoot and verify system and sub-system anomalies, perform system data analysis using MUX 1553 raw data and video data, log and document integration activities throughout the life cycle of each AV-8B Block Upgrade.
Support systems integration lab, ground and flight tests; monitor, review and comment on integration test planning documentation and test events.
Support airborne systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to support integration efforts, respond to inquiries from the fleet operators, and support fleet introductions of new and modified systems.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
Experience and working knowledge of tactical aircraft systems and weapons is desired.
Experience with some of the following aircraft systems: Tactical Radar, Navigation/Communication, Datalinks (VMF, Link 16,…), 1760 Weapons.
The incumbent will be required to utilize PVCS and DOORS requirements management software.
A secret clearance and working knowledge and experience in the handling and distribution of classified material are required for the position.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Ability to speak/write clearly and professionally.
