Research Intern for Markets, Enterprise, and Resiliency Initiative (Fall/Winter 2013)
The New America Foundation (NAF) is seeking a part-time (15-20 hours/week) intern for the Markets, Enterprise, and Resiliency Initiative (MERI). MERI documents and clarifies the dangers of extreme consolidation across America's political economy. Its work promotes political, industrial, economic, and environmental resilience, and fosters discussions of ways to reestablish America's political economy on a more stable and fair foundation. The internship is ideal for someone interested in how markets work and how the concentration of power in our political economy affects us as entrepreneurs, workers, and citizens. Work may vary according to program needs, but will overall offer an opportunity to contribute to substantive research and reporting. The internship is paid.
