The Contract Business Analyst plays an integral role in the Spend Management group for
Adventist Healthcare and is responsible for administrative and contracting support for
the Materials Management department. He / She will be responsible for working to
reduce off-contract spend, coordinate completion of contract documents, manage /
maintenance of contracts, increase Premier Contract pull-through, analyze the annual
spend on identified products and services, identify savings opportunities and rigorously
monitor / strive to meet realized saving goals. Actions and attitude should contribute to
the critical success factors of the organization (i.e. Best place to work, Most

¿ Bachelor¿s degree required; Finance / Economics / Accounting preferred.
¿ At least 3 years experience in purchasing department
¿ Must have experience in pharmacy.
¿ Relevant education may substitute for experience requirement.
¿ Ability to quickly learn and understand the clinical products in the supply chain.
¿ Certifications in the field of supply chain are a plus.
¿ Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.
¿ Ability to quickly learn ERP system and other software tools is a must. Experience in
PeopleSoft, GHX, Premier tools is a plus.
¿ Strong customer service skills.
¿ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
¿ Strong knowledge of clinical products and services is a plus.
