Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, train, and motivate team and fellow managers into high-performing teams. Build sales and guest counts through leadership of team and being involved in the community. Identify and develop team members for future leadership roles
Manage team member performance with clear feedback, recognition, reviews, coaching/teaching, and discipline
Maximize sales and profits by upholding sales and service techniques to ensure a great guest experience
Model ways to delight guests and team members to deliver an excellent guest experience
Maintain sparkling clean restaurants, ensure QSC standards are achieved, serve high quality food, and show genuine concern for guests
Increase sales and maximize profit by ensuring all P&L items are controlled and company objectives are achieved
Maintain appropriate employee records/documentation to ensure company is compliant with local/federal agencies
At least three (3) years experience as a restaurant/retail management
Advanced working knowledge of restaurant operations, financials, and control systems
Proven track record of passionate customer service ability to develop team and assistant managers within their store to deliver legendary guest service experiences every day
Strong organizational skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge while promoting the culture and values of Boston Market
Ability to value change and work in a face paced environment
Bachelors Degree preferred
Interacts daily with external guests as well as working alongside management team and team members. Frequent contact with regional manager, senior regional manager, HR manager, and various field support and support center personnel.
Withstand temperatures of 0 degrees Fahrenheit or less and 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more
move throughout the restaurant for extended periods of time (up to 10-12 hours per day)
move 50 lbs. for distances of up to 10 ft.
balance and move up to 25 lbs. for distances of up to 50 ft.
understand and respond to team members and guests requests in a loud environment
perform basic math and understand finances and cost management
Bend, stoop and reach in order to load and spit chicken, stock shelves, serve customers and clean the store
