Avaya Government Solutions has a contingent upon award opening for a Senior Foreign Military Sales Analyst (FMS) located in Fairfax, VA. This candidate will conduct analytical studies of military, commercial or civil operations. Provides administrative and operational support to client in a variety of functional areas which may include document research; analysis of financial, supply, and Foreign Military Sales documents; document preparation; data research; and preparation of research findings. Prepares and conducts briefings as required. Position requires interaction with client and other client support personnel. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
Minimum Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 10 years related FMS/Navy Logistics/Finance experience. Additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree requirement. Required Qualifications: Security Clearance: Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Residient with a minimum of 3 years legal residency in the United States (as required by the Secretary of Defense DTM 08-006)
