This position is located in our MD, Bethesda facility



S/he will perform all routine and delegated duties related to the 15-year Longitudinal Study with little or no supervision. Collaborates and consults with leadership and other agencies as required.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Performs all routine and delegated assignments with little or no supervision.
• Maximizes the use of office/institutional resources as it relates to the 15-year study.
• Consults effectively and efficiently with leadership and other staff members to successfully execute duties as program manager.
• Coordinates the decision-making process between all program participants.
• Facilitates information flow between program members, scientific directors, and others within DVBIC.
• Provides advice on personnel issues, manpower utilization, work flow, and operational procedures to increase efficiency, productivity, and makes overall improvements for the program.
• Assists with the development and formulation of reports and budget requests for various projects.
• Reviews space utilization within the program and makes recommendations accordingly.
• Assists with the preparation of requests for new clinical initiatives proposals or grant applications.


Bachelor's Degree in Management/HR required, MBA preferred.

4 to 6 years' experience in program management required. Prior experience within the DoD/VA systems of care strongly preferred.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Knowledge of the federal budget process require. Ability to use office automation and coordinate many complex systems and programs at the same time required. Ability to work independently and use of sound judgment in solving problems are required. S/he must adhere to legal, professional and ethical codes with respect to confidentiality and privacy.
