About Channel Initiative
Channel Initiative (CI) was founded in September 2012 to effectively and directly respond to the urgent needs of vulnerable communities around the world, going unmet.
The organization's founding members seek to create simple, human-centered, empowering and effective solutions, underpinned by a desire to be practical examples of God's love. At the core of Channel Initiative's mission is a desire to empower individuals and local communities and draw from as well as build upon the strengths already existing within the community.
All of CI's work on the ground is locally-owned and driven. CI employs a collaborative approach, and works with a variety of stakeholders and partners, including: activists, the global church, corporations, international organizations and governments. The organization acts as a channel for resources and expertise, toward the best empowerment solutions for individuals and communities.
CI has an ultimate vision of a world free from extreme human suffering, where the most at risk communities are empowered to create incredible impact where they live and beyond.
