The position is out of Oakwood's office in Gaithersburg.

The Client Service Representative focuses on increasing conversions of sales opportunities to reservations and providing exceptional customer support to meet the temporary housing needs of Oakwood World's top national customers. They assure timely and accurate delivery of creative housing solutions by coordinating a series of specific activities that facilitate the process from first client contact to move-in. Here is what you can expect from this fast-paced essential position:

  • Responding to a large volume of corporate account requests via telephone and email in a timely manner
  • Building effective relationships with internal and external customers to assure effective, efficient and productive experiences
  • Demonstrating a commitment to the Company's customer service model
  • Performing a needs assessment with corporate clients to assure each sales opportunity captures the appropriate Critical to Service metrics
  • Creating reservations and completing reservations paperwork
  • Conducting welcome/wellness calls as needed by request
  • Demonstrating flexibility in sharing reasonable coverage responsibilities when unusual and necessary demands require working weekends and/or holidays to assure superior customer service to valued customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Successful candidate will possess:

  • 2 years customer service experience in a customer focused industry, i.e. hospitality, banking, etc.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Active listening skills and ability to proactively recommend creative solutions
  • Ability to adapt to an ever changing, high energy, high volume environment
  • Exceptional organizational, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Previous experience with Siebel, Cisco, or other customer relationship management systems a plus
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent business related experience preferred
