Description

Work with our customer's Army Ground Combat Vehicle Electronics Architecture organization performing tools development, scripting, extensions, and interfaces for System Modeling and Requirements Management tools. Working closely with end-users in a ground vehicle, embedded systems, environment, you will identify requirements for tools integration, automation, data import and export, and report generation. In particular, this opportunity will involve developing scripts and customized interfaces to increase the productivity and use of System Modeling tools, Requirements Management Tools, Test Automation Tools, as well as developing interfaces between tools to ensure traceability and management of Program/Projectrequirements, design, and implementation.

Essential Job Functions:

Interface with end-users (Engineering Architects, Designers, Developers) to identify tool needs and enhancements.

Interface with tool vendors to develop automation, interface, and data exchange solutions.

Design, implement, test and maintain programs and scripts used to enhance the capabilities of Modeling and Requirements Management tools.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering paired with threeyears of experience.

Visual Basic (VB) Scripting and Utilities developmentand use.

C and C++ development experience.

Microsoft Excel Creation from Visual Basic Scripting.

Experiencewith SQL Databases; data mining, importing/exporting, data manipulation.

Excellent technical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to obtain a Government security clearance.

Desired Skills:

Familiarity and Usage of Atego's Artisan Studio Modeling Tool, ideally in developing and maintaining scripts to enhance capabilities and use of tool.

Familiarity and Usage of Atego's IBM Rational's DOORS Tool, ideally in developing and maintaining scripts to enhance capabilities and use of tool.

Experience with DOORS DXL.

Developmentof DOORS Views and schemas.

Interfacing DOORs data with other software tools (Microsoft Office Products, Atego Artisan Studio for example).

Experience with JAVA and HTML.

Experience with UML and/or SysML.

Experience with Configuration Management.

Familiarity with Process and Product Quality Assurance.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
A company-funded deferred compensation plan to earn ownership in DCS. Every employee over the age of 18 becomes part of the ESOP on the first entry date (June 1 or December 1) following completion of one year of service during which 1,000 hours of service have been attained. Each year the company intends to contribute shares of company stock or cash to the ESOP. Contributions vest on a graduated basis to 100% at six years of service.

Deferred Salary/Profit Sharing Plan 401(k)
Provides retirement benefits to employees. There is no vesting schedule to the Company's contributions to your 401(k). DCS contributes from three to six percent (3-6%) of base salary on a graduated schedule starting the first of the month following date of hire. All full and part-time employees are eligible to participate. All contributions to the plan are invested in various investment funds according to the employee's direction. Additionally, employees may also contribute pre-tax monies to their 401(k) account immediately upon employment, up to the IRS-specified yearly limit.


Bonus Incentive Program (BIP)
Significant efforts of individual employees are recognized through the Bonus Incentive Program. A BIP recipient receives not only the professional accolades of coworkers and a plaque, but a monetary award of up to $5000. The BIP is open to all non-management employees in the company.


Employee Referral Program
Employees are eligible for a referral bonus if they refer a candidate to DCS that is hired. Currently, the referral bonus ranges from $750 to $3500.
