Job Summary:
SPARKS is hiring a Marketing Assistant to join and support the Marketing Department of a non-profit organization in Montgomery County. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who wants to gain experience in an entry level Marketing position and work in a passionate and team oriented environment!

Under general supervision, this person will perform administrative duties related to the Marketing Department and requires knowledge of Marketing Department practices and procedures. Duties involve coordination of project assignments, inputting/analyzing basic marketing data, responding to questions from the internal/external public, and participating on marketing projects, as directed.

Responsibilities:

• To assist online service team with written correspondence for web, email, social media, etc.
• Propose new content, updates, etc. for online presence and campaigns
• Take initiative to implement online strategies
• Perform typing and data entry
• Other administrative/marketing duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Proficiency in MS Office -- specifically Word and Excel
• Excellent language and communication skills, both oral and written, to include good spelling and grammar
• 1-4 years of Marketing experience
