Making your own wine at Tin Lizzie Wineworks or Vint Hill Craft Winery is essentially a year-long endeavor, starting at harvest in the fall with the crushing of grapes and ending the following August with bottling the finished wine. Extended barrel aging is possible, at a premium. A full barrel yields about 20 to 25 cases, depending on the barrel size.
