THE SOLUTION
Designer Nancy Twomey gives the room a glamorous, turn-of-the-century look with a velvet headboard, silver leaf mirror and hand-blown glass table lamps.
Twomey, of Finnian’s Moon Interiors, is based in Alexandria.
Say no to one-color rooms.Frankie’s favorite color, purple, shines when complemented by a fresh blue.
Elegant hand-blown glass lamps in a funky color look grown-up but still playful.
Give the space a focal point, and some sparkle, by moving the existing chandelier to the center of the room.
Collections should be grouped thoughtfully. The floating shelves provide space for Frankie’s taller trophies.
