Here are some places in the Washington area where kids can learn to shoot for the bull’s-eye.

The Archery Program at Bull Run

What: 90-minute classes that introduce you to archery.

Where: 7700 Bull Run Dr., Centreville.

Who: Recommended for kids age 8 and older.

When: The next sessions are on May 26, June 10 and June 23. There are more throughout the summer.

Archery Program

What: Weekly lessons for kids and adults.

Where: Building 778 on Warren Road, Fort Belvoir.

Who: Age 6 and up.

When: 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays.

How much: $8 for civilians; $5 for military service members.
